Keep your chin up, child of God…
Some think that keeping your chin up means the same thing as having a stiff upper lip, but it doesn’t. Instead, it can be defined like this:
Abba, our Heavenly Papa, sees us when our heads are down, and tears are falling from our eyes.
With his loving hands, He places one on our shoulder and with the other He gently lifts our chin.
As we gaze into His face, He says, “I’ve got this. Everything will be alright. Keep your chin up.”
Has He not said it? Whatever God spoke to You, He’ll bring it to pass. After all, He’s the one who started this work in you, and He will complete it (Jesus will, not you, not us. Can we watch over His word to perform it?).
Don’t let the enemy steal your enthusiasm and joy. Yes, the heart can be sick with delay, but the Awesome Lord God and King, the One who loves you, holds your times in His hands.
So, child of God Most High, keep your chin up! Set your faith like flint, your choice to believe like granite (real granite, not the plastic stuff)! Weeping may endure for the night, but remember, joy comes in the morning. Be of good cheer. He has not forgotten.
We pray for you, every day.
You are not receiving our emails by happenstance. Of course, you can unsubscribe at any time, but we hope you won’t. Why? Because we pray for you every day and write emails under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. If you ever have a specific prayer request, just reply to the emails or contact us. QUIET YOUR MIND from the flurry of the day and think on these verses:
“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”
Philippians 1:6
“The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.”
Psalm 138:8
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33
Until next time, stay strong in His might!
